Edward T. is a PhD student at Imperial College London, specializing in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, focusing on the design of neural implants for prosthetic limb feedback. Prior to this role, Edward served as a Research Engineer at MindPortal, where responsibilities included developing a non-invasive Brain Computer Interface utilizing machine learning and neuroimaging. Additionally, Edward worked as an Electronics Engineer at Cerca Magnetics Limited, designing mixed analogue and digital systems for an OPM-MEG brain scanning device. An undergraduate research placement at the Next Generation Neural Interfaces Lab involved designing a radar system and developing a low-cost PCB brain implant. Early experience as a Systems Engineer at Ultra Electronics further contributed to Edward's engineering background. Edward holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Imperial College London and achieved A*AA at A levels along with 8A*s and 3As in GCSEs.
