Dr. Lokesh Ragta is a Senior Research Software Engineer specializing in high-performance computing at Imperial College London since March 2023, where contributions include accelerating an image analysis program on Nvidia A100 GPUs. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Software Engineer Specialist at the University of Leicester, achieving a 25X acceleration of the Classical Gram Schmidt orthogonalisation algorithm. As a CFD and HPC Scientist at STFC, Dr. Ragta contributed to developing a domain-specific language for Lattice Boltzmann Method fluid flow solvers. Earlier roles involved developing and parallelizing fluid dynamics solvers at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a population balance model for the Aditya Birla Group. Dr. Ragta holds a PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a B.Tech. in Mechanical and Automation Engineering from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology.
