Bernhard Kainz is a Professor in Medical Image Computing at Imperial College London since January 2013, with prior roles including Associate Professor and Honorary Fellow, focusing on research, publishing, teaching, and management. Kainz has been a Professor at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg since September 2021 and co-founded Fraiya Ltd, serving as Senior Technical Advisor to develop AI-enabled tools for ultrasound examinations.
