Amanda Wolthuizen is an experienced professional currently serving as an Associate Fellow in the UK in the World program at Chatham House since February 2023. Since January 2017, Amanda has held multiple senior roles at Imperial College London, including Director of Public Affairs and Chief of Staff in the President's Office, as well as Head of Public Affairs. Prior to this, Amanda led communications as Head of Communications at The Russell Group from April 2015 to December 2016 and directed communications and external affairs for the Social Market Foundation from January 2014 to March 2015. Amanda's journalism background includes positions at ITV Studios from 2007 to 2013, contributing to notable projects such as The First Election Debate and Dispatches. Earlier career positions include roles as a researcher for James Purnell MP and an Economic Policy Officer at Policy Network. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Monash University, earned between 1998 and 2003.
