Doug Dempster has an extensive background in engineering and product development, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Advisors for Impairment Science, Inc. Since February 2023, Dempster has contributed to the expansion of the company's mobile app-based impairment testing. Previously, Dempster held various leadership roles at The Weather Company, an IBM Business, including Head of Mobile Engineering and Chief Architect, overseeing the creation of customizable mobile applications and advanced broadcasting systems for weather information. Other notable positions include Vice President of Product Development at Harvard Design & Mapping and Vice President of Media Systems Development at WSI Corporation, where Dempster was instrumental in developing innovative products for the weather industry. A graduate of The University of Texas at Dallas with a Master's in Computer Science and Albion College with a Bachelor's in Mathematics, Dempster's career spans decades in software engineering and product development across multiple organizations.
