Madeleine Cunningham is an experienced professional in development and grant writing, currently serving as the Director of Development at Impact Justice since December 2020, with prior roles including Associate Director of Development and Senior Grant Writer. At Impact Justice, responsibilities include writing grant proposals and reports to secure funding, particularly for innovations in criminal justice reform. Previously, Madeleine held the position of Director of Development and Communications at Street Sense Media, overseeing fundraising activities and marketing efforts. With a strong background in managing grants programs and securing funding for organizations such as the Washington Office on Latin America, Madeleine also has experience in grant writing for various non-profit clients through Elevate and has contributed to educational and cultural initiatives through internships at institutions like the El Gran Museo del Mundo Maya and Stearns History Museum. Madeleine earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Centre College in 2015.
