Fabiola Polli, Ph.D., is the CEO and Founder of BioFashionTech, a company dedicated to transforming textile waste into sustainable opportunities through innovative eco-friendly technology. With extensive experience as a sustainability and circular economy consultant since November 2018, Fabiola collaborates with various clients to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote social change in fashion consumption through the establishment of Chicfashic, another venture focused on creating circular resource flows. Fabiola also serves as a trainer for Climate Impact Forecast and engages in independent research at the University of Groningen. Previous roles include tutoring in corporate sustainability and project management at Thermo Fisher Scientific, as well as significant involvement in biotechnology research during a Ph.D. program in Molecular Microbiology. Fabiola's educational background includes advanced degrees in genetic engineering, human biology, and evolutionary studies from reputable institutions.
