Michael Mazo has a diverse work experience in the scientific and sales fields. Michael started their career as an Intern at Newport Biodiesel in 2014. Michael then worked as a Sales Representative and Floor Technician at Amco, Inc. from 2014 to 2018. In 2016, Michael joined Nitto Avecia as a Process Chemist III, where they led downstream purification activities and performed root cause analysis. Michael later transitioned to the role of Process Development Chemist, focusing on technology transfer projects and process characterization. Since 2021, Michael has been working at Immunologix Laboratories as a Scientist II and is currently serving as the Reagents Lead.

Michael Mazo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from Rhode Island College, where they attended from 2010 to 2015. Michael later pursued a Master of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science with a focus on Biotechnology at the University of Rhode Island from 2016 to 2018.
