Charles Garlisi is a seasoned executive in the field of regulatory affairs and scientific support, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at ImmunityBio, Inc. since September 2024. Prior roles include Vice President of Scientific Affairs at Hurley Consulting Associates Ltd., where Charles led a team focused on nonclinical and scientific support for various projects. At Merck, Charles held multiple positions, including Director of Cell Pharmacology, overseeing significant team management and development of pharmacological assays. Charles began their career at Schering-Plough Research Institute with roles advancing from Postdoctoral Fellow to Senior Principal Scientist, leading investigations on therapeutic targets in immunology and inflammation. Charles earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Francis College.
