Leah Bury's work experience includes being a Lead Scientific Product and Communications Designer at Immunai since June 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance Science Illustrator at Microscopic Art, LLC from January 2017 to March 2022. Leah also founded Drawn2Science, a project of the Stem Advocacy Institute, where they provided science-art workshops to middle school students from an unspecified date to March 2022. Additionally, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research from January 2016 to March 2022.

Leah Bury obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Genetics from the University of Cambridge starting in 2011 and ending in 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Diplom degree in Molecular Medicine from The University of Freiburg between 2005 and 2010.
