Sherif Joseph Atallah has extensive experience in communications and refugee protection, holding a prominent role at the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB) of Canada since March 2009 as a Coordinating Board Member and Board Member for the Refugee Protection Division/Legacy Initiative. At IRB, Sherif managed Board Members' caseloads, aligned management efforts, and rendered over 700 informed decisions on refugee claims in accordance with Canadian law. Prior to this, Sherif served as a Film Investment Advisor in Spain/USA, facilitated corporate communications at David & Goliath Communications Marketing, and held senior roles at Diners Club International, where significant achievements in branding and communication strategies were noted. Sherif began a career in communications at CMC Electronics, enhancing both internal and external communication strategies. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from McGill University.
