Sameer Sharma is an experienced professional in the field of quality assurance and operational management within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as the Director/Head of Operational Quality Assurance and Systems at Immatics since March 2022, Sameer has previously held roles such as Associate Director QA/QMS and Associate Director of Quality Assurance. At Lonza from April 2018 to March 2022, Sameer managed critical projects related to quality assurance, focusing on Pre Approval Inspections for Gene and Cell Therapy. Earlier roles at Sanofi Genzyme involved supervising a team in compliance and quality improvement, while positions at Pfizer and Wyeth BioPharma included leadership in clinical manufacturing and purification processes. Sameer holds multiple degrees in Biotechnology and Computer Science from recognized institutions, including a Master’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Bachelor’s degree from Plymouth State University and the University of New Hampshire.
