Jean-Paul Thys is an experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in nuclear medicine and nursing. Since May 1995, Jean-Paul has served as Head Nurse in Nuclear Medicine and Patient Transport at Imelda vzw, where responsibilities include managing service and staff. In addition, Jean-Paul has been the President of the Technologist Section of BELNUC since 2013, focusing on communication and public relations within the sector. Previous roles include President of the School Council at Gemeenteschool Bonheiden from May 2003 to February 2011 and a nursing position in Radiology at UZ Leuven from January 1991 to September 1994. Jean-Paul holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from KHS Mechelen (1996-1999) and a nursing diploma from HRIPB Mechelen (1984-1987), specializing in Health Care Administration and Management.
