João Henrique Corrêa de Souza is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering, research, and education. Currently serving as the Director of the Polytechnic School at Atitus Educação and as a Partner/Founder at TechnNOVA, João leads initiatives in research, development, and innovation. Previous roles include project management at iTec/FURG-Embrapii, visiting professor at FURG, and senior manager at Bruning Tecnometal Ltda., where significant advancements in engineering and development were achieved. João holds a Ph.D. in Sheet Metal Forming Processes from the University of Stuttgart, complemented by a Master of Science and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. A consistent contributor to both academic and industrial advancements, João specializes in metal forming, process tribology, and project management within engineering settings.
