John Petersen

Scientific Director at imec

John Petersen has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. John currently serves as the Scientific Director at imec and has been with the company since 2017. Prior to this role, they worked as the Principal Scientist at imec for five years.

Furthermore, they served as a Board Member at Chronos Productions Motion Picture Studios Inc. in 2015, where they advised on the technical development of high-performance computing resources for animation.

John's expertise in lithography modeling also led him to serve as a Technical Advisory Board member at Gauda Inc. from 2006 to 2014, where they provided insights into deep subwavelength imaging and lithographic model development.

Finally, John worked as a Fellow at SEMATECH from 1996 to 1998, where they conducted evaluation and development activities in resolution-enhancement technologies.
