Forrest Fan is a multifaceted professional with a strong background in software engineering and data analysis. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Intern at IMC Trading since June 2023, Forrest previously gained valuable experience as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon, where new latency metrics and visualization tools for Alexa Orchestration were developed. At Huawei, a C++ system was built to parse and interact with tree-based data, achieving performance up to 230 times faster than industry standards. Additional experience includes developing a Python program for data analysis at Huawei and teaching programming to young students with Kidz2Code. Earlier roles also include an internship at Splinterlands, focusing on an NFT Marketplace in React. Forrest is pursuing dual Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Computer Science from Western University, complemented by a prior education at St. Robert Catholic High School.
