Andre Bergh is a Data Platform Engineer at IMC Trading since February 2023. Prior to this role, Andre served as Head of Solution Architecture at Arrel Technology, where responsibilities included architecting bespoke fintech solutions and overseeing production infrastructure as Head of Infrastructure. As Co-Founder and CIO of AvantCore (Pty) LTD from September 2017 to September 2020, Andre focused on software development, including arbitrage and market making strategies. Previous experience includes roles as Electro-Technical Officer on the Motor Yacht Seven Seas and AV/IT Engineer on Motor Yacht Tatoosh. Andre's earlier positions include Product Development Specialist for VoIP at MTN Business, Product Manager for Software as a Service at Vodacom Business, and Operations Specialist at Telkom SA. Educational qualifications include a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town and a B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, along with a certificate in Product Management from General Assembly.
