Sara Bernstein is Executive Vice President of Imagine Documentaries and leads the development and production of premium feature docs and non-scripted series, including D.Wade: Life Unexpected and Rebuilding Paradise. Prior to joining Imagine, Sara was SVP, HBO Documentary Films overseeing various award-winning documentary films and nonfiction programming for the network including Emmy速 winner The Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling, Academy Award速 and Emmy速 winner Citizenfour, Emmy速 winner Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief, Emmy nominated Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck, and Mommy Dead and Dearest. Over the years, Sara has garnered 10 Emmy速 wins, 28 Emmy速 nominations, 11 Peabody Awards and the films she has supervised have won 2 Academy Awards速 and 13 Academy Award速 nominations.
