Nishant Patel has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role being a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer at Imagine Communications. In this role, they created test cases, executed test plans, and participated in various Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) processes. Prior to this, Nishant worked as a Software QA Engineer at Imagine Communications, where they developed and executed test cases, identified and documented defects, and collected test data. Before joining Imagine Communications, they spent some time at Evertz Microsystem Ltd as a Research and Development - Student Design Engineer, where they designed and implemented a framework for automating tests on video and audio files. Nishant also worked at Evertz Microsystem Ltd as a Research and Development - Student Engineer Technician, where they used various tools to ensure video and audio fidelity and verify functionality of decoders and encoders. Nishant started their career as a Technical Analyst - Coop at CIBC, where they provided on-site support and responded to incident and request tickets.

Nishant Patel completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from Ryerson University from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Computer Systems Technician - Software Engineering from Sheridan College from 2010 to 2012. In 2020, Nishant also obtained a SAFe 4 Practitioner Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
