Darryl Williams has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Darryl is currently employed as a Digital Project Director at Imagination since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at M-is for a significant period, where they held multiple roles. From 2020 to 2021, they served as a Technical Integration Lead, responsible for the technical planning, development, and delivery of digital solutions. During this time, they successfully integrated an XR stage, enabling the company to deliver Hybrid Virtual events with immersive XR and AR content. From 2016 to 2021, they held the position of Digital Technical Project Manager. In this role, they played a key role in managing digital projects. Darryl also served as a Senior Digital Producer from 2012 to 2021, leading the design and development of digital delivery across various accounts, including the Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, and BAE Systems. Prior to joining M-is, Darryl worked as a Freelance Digital Creative from 2008 to 2012, delivering multi-screen design and digital solutions. Additionally, they have experience working as a Digital Creative at Freelance from 2001 to 2008, where they focused on delivering creative digital solutions for web, kiosk, and exhibition platforms. Before transitioning to the digital industry, Darryl worked as a Production Associate at McLaren Group Ltd. from 1999 to 2001. Darryl started their career as a Media Resources Assistant at Sun Life Financial, where they were responsible for creating presentation content, interactive multimedia, and video production to support the sales force.
Darryl Williams completed their education between the years 1990 and 1994. Darryl attended the University of Portsmouth, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media and Communication with a focus on architectural design. Afterward, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Media and Cultural Communication, specializing in Multimedia Design, also at the University of Portsmouth. In January 2016, they obtained a certification as an Agile Practitioner from the DSDM Consortium.
