Shane Cook has worked in the IT industry since 1989. Shane began their career as a QA Analyst at International Gear Corporation. Shane then moved to Cole Managed Vision as an Information Systems Analyst. In 1994, they began working at Rockwell Automation as an IT Analyst, and then moved to Parts Associates, Inc. as a Senior Application Developer. From 2009 to 2011, they worked at Cleveland Clinic as a Systems Analyst. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at Medical Service Company as an Application Developer. From 2013 to 2018, they worked at Hyland in various roles, including Business Development, Team Leader of Global Services, and Solution Developer. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at Case Western Reserve University as an Application Developer (ECM). Most recently, they began working at Protegis Fire & Safety in 2020 as an IT Manager.

Shane Cook holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Cleveland State University, which they obtained between 2015 and 2017. Shane also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Cleveland State University, which they obtained between 1999 and 2012. Shane has also obtained several certifications, including an OnBase Certified Systems Administrator (OCSA) from Hyland in September 2019, an OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator (OCWA) from Hyland in September 2019, an OnBase Certified Workview Developer (OCWV) from Hyland in September 2019, a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute in August 2019, an OnBase Certified Application Programming Interface (OCAPI) from Hyland in November 2018, a Human Resource Information Professional (HRIP) from the International Association for Human Resource Information Management in October 2011, and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) from Microsoft.
