Lexie Dorius has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Lexie started their career as a Tech Support Agent at Creative Labs in 1999. From there, they worked as an Elementary School Teacher and later became the District Technology Coordinator at Follett Independent School District. In 2008, they joined Oklahoma State University as a System Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Learning Technologist. Lexie then worked at the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma as a Systems Administrator/Health Information Technical Analyst and also served as the Interim IT Director. Following that, they joined the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Division of Health as a Health Informatics Manager. In 2016, they joined ImageNet Consulting, LLC as a Business Analyst/Solution Architect, where they had over 10 years of experience engineering Enterprise Content Management solutions. Currently, they are serving as the Board Treasurer at the Mannford Area Chamber of Commerce.

Lexie Dorius attended Oklahoma State University from 1999 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism & Broadcasting. Lexie then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Educational Technology from West Texas A&M University, graduating in 2007. In terms of additional certifications, Lexie obtained several certifications from Laserfiche, including Laserfiche Certified Solutions Engineer in September 2022, Laserfiche Administrator and Laserfiche Administrator II in January 2012, and Laserfiche Specialist in Business Process Management in January 2012.
