Omri Avissara has a diverse work experience in various roles. Omri is currently the Head of Customer Success at IMA, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Business Development Manager - Cyber Lead at IMA from December 2020 to December 2021. Before joining IMA, Omri worked as a Business Development Manager - Cyber at IMA from September 2019 to December 2020. In this role, they were responsible for creating business acceleration and collaborations between cyber startups and F1000 enterprises globally.
Omri also has experience in the academic field, where they were an MBA candidate at Tel Aviv University - Coller School of Management from October 2017 to August 2019.
Prior to their work in the corporate and academic sectors, Omri served in the IDF - Israel Defense Forces. Omri held the position of Head Of Operations, Captain, Armored Corps National Training Center from September 2016 to June 2018. In this role, they owned and managed training programs, identified and prioritized brigade's needs, and built customer relations.
Before their position at the National Training Center, Omri was part of the Tactical Command College from June 2014 to August 2016. Here, they led the enterprise command & control software upgrade, trained company commanders, and excelled in research on decision making under pressure.
Omri's career in the IDF began as Deputy and Company Commander from August 2012 to April 2014. In this role, they commanded up to 60 officers and soldiers, oversaw security and military operations, and mentored personal and professional development programs.
Omri Avissara holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management of Technology, Innovation & Entrepreneurship (MoTIE) from Tel Aviv University, which they obtained from 2017 to 2019. Omri also completed an additional MBA program called the Delta Accelerator Program from Tel Aviv University - Coller School of Management in 2019. Prior to their MBA, Omri earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from Bar-Ilan University, where they studied from 2014 to 2016.
