Karla Muniz has extensive experience in human resources and workforce management. Karla is currently serving as the Chief People Officer at IMA Medical Group. Prior to this, Karla worked at AdventHealth Central Florida, where they held the role of Executive Director - Strategic Workforce Integration and Human Resources Director - iSynergy (ERP) Implementation. Before that, they were a Senior Human Resources Director - Talent Acquisitions at Florida Hospital and held various other HR positions within the organization. Karla also worked as a Staffing Manager at All Medical Personnel and as a Financial Service Advisor/HR Assistant at Bank One. Overall, Karla Muniz has a strong background in HR and has held leadership positions in strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, and HR management.

Karla Muniz, MHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a Master's degree in Human Resources from Rollins College, which they obtained from 2006 to 2008. Karla also holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Central Florida, which they earned from 1999 to 2002. In addition to their academic achievements, Karla Muniz has obtained various certifications, including the SHRM-SCP from SHRM in July 2018 and the Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification from HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in July 2007. Karla has also obtained certifications in Change Management from Prosci, HR and Digital Transformation from LinkedIn, and Change Management Human Resources (CMHR) from the Human Capital Institute (HCI).
