Mohammad Bataineh has over 14 years of work experience in the engineering field. In 2006, they began working as a Mechanical Engineer for the Ministry of Public Works and Housing in Jordan. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer for the Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company Ltd. and Samra Electric Power Company (SEPCO). In 2009, they joined Qatrana Electric Power Co. as a Mechanical Project Engineer. From 2011 to 2013, they served as a Mechanical Project Engineer and Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for SEPCO. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Teacher Assistant and Research Assistant at Binghamton University, as well as a Postdoctoral Researcher. From 2017 to 2022, they worked as a Senior System Design Engineer and Mechanical Project Engineer for iA. In 2022, they became Self Employed, and in 2023, they began working as a Process Engineer for iM3NY.

Mohammad Bataineh earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Industrial Engineering from Binghamton University in 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2008, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university in 2005.
