David Alleva, PhD has over two decades of experience in the biopharma industry and academic research environments. David began their career in 1994 as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Boston University Medical Center. In 1998, they moved to Neurocrine Biosciences as a Principal Scientist. In 2006, they joined XOMA (US) LLC as a Group Leader. In 2007, they became the Director of Immunology at Hollis-Eden Pharmaceuticals. In 2010, they were a Sr. Manager of Vaccine and Potency Assay Development at Emergent BioSolutions. In 2013, they founded Alleva Biotech Consulting, LLC and served as a Biopharmaceutical Consultant. In 2015, they were the Director of Immunology at JDRF International. In 2017, they became the Executive Director of Immunotherapeutics at Akston Biosciences Corporation and the President of Immucrine Biopharma Consulting, LLC. In 2021, they joined IM Therapeutics as the VP of Immunology.
David Alleva, PhD obtained their Ph.D. in Immunology from Virginia Tech and their B.S. in Biology from Indiana University Bloomington.
