Pak Yang Chum is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology industry, currently serving as a Staff Field Applications Scientist and previously as a Staff Program Manager at Illumina since March 2014. With a robust background that includes various leadership roles in field applications and program management within the EMEA and Nordics regions, Pak Yang Chum has demonstrated expertise in scientific applications and project leadership. Prior experience includes positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific and VTT, along with meaningful contributions as a board member in AIESEC organizations. Academically, Pak Yang Chum holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Biotechnology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, as well as Master's degrees in Strategy from Aalto University and in Molecular Biotechnology from the University of Helsinki.
