Valerie McGuire is a seasoned human resources executive with extensive experience in leading HR strategies across diverse industries. Currently serving as the Group Human Resources Director for the Automotive Segment at ITW since March 2013, Valerie oversees HR functions for approximately 12 divisions with a combined revenue of around $3 billion across more than 15 countries. Previous roles include VP of Human Resources at SPX Corporation, delivering strategic HR initiatives for the Weil-Mclain/MEP Division, and Global Senior Director of Human Resources for Alberto Culver at Unilever, where Valerie was responsible for global HR strategies across multiple countries. Valerie also held significant HR leadership positions at The RoomPlace and Andrew Corporation, where responsibilities encompassed HR strategy development, organizational design, and M&A integration. Valerie holds an Executive Coaching Certification from Northwestern University, an MBA from DePaul University, and a B.S. in Management from Northern Illinois University.
