Clarita Santos is currently a Board Member at the Illinois Coalition. Clarita has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, having served as Director of Program Funding at United Way of Metro Chicago, Midwest Region Program Coordinator at Asian Health Coalition of Illinois, and Community Liaison at Cook County State's Attorney. In these roles, they have developed strong relationships with corporate and civic partners, managed volunteers, and created funding and implementation strategies focused on underserved communities.
Clarita Santos has a long history of fighting for social justice. Clarita became the Executive Director of Asian American AIDS Services in 1996 and worked tirelessly to help those affected by HIV/AIDS. In their role as Community Liaison at Cook County State's Attorney, they worked with victims of crime and helped them navigate the criminal justice system. Clarita Santos is a powerful advocate for the underserved and has dedicated their career to helping those in need.
Clarita Santos earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of Charleston. Clarita then went on to earn an MPH in Health Policy and Administration from the University of Illinois Chicago. Clarita is currently a student at R. B. Stall High School.
