Sherry Cook is a seasoned professional in health, safety, and environmental management, currently serving as the QSHE Manager and previously as the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager at Ilika plc since August 2021. Prior to this role, Sherry worked at Hamble Aerostructures Ltd as the Lead Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist from February 2020 to August 2021, and at GE Aviation as the Lead EHS Specialist from January 2018 to February 2020, where responsibilities included designing EHS strategies and leading high-risk programs. Sherry's extensive experience also includes a senior role at CooperVision, overseeing health, safety, and environmental practices across multiple sites over a span of twelve years, along with various positions focused on health and safety assessments and compliance. Sherry holds multiple certifications, including an AIEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and certificates in fire risk assessment and workplace noise assessment from recognized institutions.
