Walter Wakolbinger is an experienced professional in the fields of GIS and BIM, currently serving as the Head of the GIS/BIM department at ILF Consulting Engineers since January 2015, following a tenure as General Manager at LandMark GmbH&Co.KG from June 2004 to December 2015. Walter has held various roles including GIS Senior Expert for the Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project and GIS Senior Consultant at ILF, with expertise in project management, quality management, data acquisition, and GIS analysis. Walter's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Geographical Information Science & Systems from Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg and an Ing (HTL) in Communication and Electronic Engineering from the Technical School for Communication and Electronic Engineering in Linz.
