Arturo Pérez Rivera is a seasoned professional in data science and analytics, currently serving as the Data & Analytics Leader at IKEA since November 2020, where responsibilities include leading a team of data experts in the Order Allocation area and advising on analytical models. Previously, Arturo held roles as a Senior Data Scientist at IKEA, and as a Lead Operations Research Consultant and Operations Research Consultant at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Arturo's academic background includes a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, as well as a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, both from the University of Twente, and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana. Significant earlier experience encompasses roles as a Logistics Analyst at Antoni van Leeuwenhoek and various internships in capacity planning and inventory control.
