Nikhil Karamchandani currently serves as an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, a position held since February 2015, after previously being an Assistant Professor. Prior to this, Nikhil Karamchandani worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at UCLA from November 2012 to January 2015 and at UC San Diego & UC Los Angeles from September 2005 to October 2012, where roles included both Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Research Assistant. Nikhil Karamchandani obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC San Diego between 2007 and 2011, and a Master of Science (MS) in the same field from UC San Diego from 2005 to 2007. The undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical Engineering, was completed at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, from 2001 to 2005, with a specialization in Communication Theory and Systems.
