Thomas McGrath has held various roles in the technology industry since 2011. In 2011, they were a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual, where they helped clients achieve greater financial security. In 2012, they were the CEO and Founder of socialsweepster.com, a tool to help clean up online social presence. Thomas was also an Associate Product Manager at Concept Farm, where they conducted primary and secondary research for Fortune 500 companies. In 2013, they became a Technology Consultant at Accenture. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Senior Product Manager at Crimson Hexagon and a Principle Product Manager at Nuance Communications, respectively. In 2018, they also became the Chief Executive Officer and a Member of the Board of Advisors at iink Payments. In 2020, they joined IU Ventures as a Member and Alteryx as a Senior Product Manager - Innovation Labs, where they were responsible for merging the technology of Alteryx's recent acquisition of Feature Labs into the core platform. In 2021, they were a Featured Graduate at Creative Destruction Lab.

Thomas McGrath received their high school diploma from Fairfield College Preparatory School in 2009. Thomas then attended Indiana University - Kelley School of Business and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation in 2013. Since then, they have obtained a number of certifications from various institutions, including a Leadership and Management Certificate Program from Wharton Executive Education in December 2020, an Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from MIT Sloan Executive Education in April 2018, a Customer-Focused Product and Service Design from Cornell University College of Engineering in September 2016, and a Scaling a Business: How to Build a USD 1 Billion + Unicorn from Wharton Executive Education in May 2022. Thomas is also currently pursuing a Data Science Executive Professional Certificate (ColumbiaX) from Columbia University in the City of New York.
