Venkataraman S currently serves as the Associate Dean at the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode's Kochi Campus, where also holds positions as Faculty in Strategic Management and Chairperson for both the Kochi Campus and the PG Programme in Business Leadership. With extensive experience in the industry, Venkataraman worked at CRISIL for 18 years, culminating in the role of Senior Director, and previously founded the Caribbean Information & Credit Rating Services Ltd, serving as CEO and Chief Rating Officer. Early career experience includes positions as Methods Engineer at TVS Motors Ltd and R&D Engineer at BPL Sanyo Technologies Ltd. Venkataraman holds a PhD in Strategic Management with a focus on Corporate Sustainability from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and has been a Fulbright Scholar at Cornell University. Additional academic credentials include a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Tiruchirappali.
