Richard Idgar is an experienced executive in the health and fitness industry, currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Health & Fitness Association since March 2024. Prior to this role, Richard has held various leadership positions at EOS Fitness since December 2015, including Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Operations, and Regional Vice President. Richard's earlier experience includes serving as General Manager at Equinox from April 2012 to October 2015, Chief Executive Officer at Fit Food, LLC from January 2011 to February 2012, and General Manager at Gold's Gym SoCal Group from November 2002 to November 2011. Richard is an alumnus of Emerson College, where a degree was earned from 1996 to 2000.
