Steven Sanchez is an experienced energy and controls engineer with a solid background in energy systems. Currently serving as an Energy Storage Systems Controls Engineer at IHI Terrasun Solutions since September 2021, Steven previously worked at Emerson Automation Solutions as a Gas Turbine Controls Engineer, where responsibilities included creating software standards and leading customer design reviews. Prior roles include Steam Turbine Controls Engineer at General Electric, focusing on control software standards and customer demonstrations, and as a Merchant Mariner 3rd Assistant Engineer at ConocoPhillips, where maintenance of diesel generators and troubleshooting electrical systems were key duties. Steven holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Marine Engineering from the State University of New York Maritime College.
