Ian Gregory is an experienced geologist with a robust background in exploration management and geological functions across various mining projects. Currently serving as Brownfields Exploration Manager and Greenfields Exploration Manager at IGO Ltd since July 2022, Ian has previously held the position of Greenfields Exploration Manager at Western Areas Ltd from June 2017 to November 2022, focusing on the West Gawler Project in South Australia. With extensive experience as Exploration Manager at Antipa Minerals and as a Principal Geologist and Independent Geological Consultant, Ian has contributed significantly to exploration projects in the Paterson Province and the Kalgoorlie District. Ian's career also includes roles at Norilsk Nickel, LionOre Australia, Ashburton Minerals, and Perilya Limited, demonstrating a strong foundation in geological exploration for a range of deposits. Ian holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) with Honours in Geology from Curtin University.
