Solomon Obong is a Data Scientist at Ignitus since September 2023, where advancements in customer targeting and marketing campaigns have been made through segmentation strategies utilizing Python libraries such as Matplotlib and Seaborn, alongside clustering models like KMeans, Hierarchical, and Gaussian, focusing on data from stores across 30 European states. Additionally, an emotions analysis system employing Convolutional Neural Networks has been developed, achieving over 78% accuracy in facial expression detection. Previously, Solomon served as a Business Manager at RastoJosh Ventures from November 2020 to December 2021, overseeing customer retention databases and optimizing business strategies based on customer feedback. Earlier experience includes a role as a Mathematics Tutor at The Lord’s Heritage School from September 2016 to October 2017, inspiring students to appreciate Mathematics and offering personalized lessons for those struggling with concepts. Solomon holds a Bachelor of Science in Financial Mathematics from the University of Lagos, completed in 2023.
