At Ignite Nebraska striving for and creating change is what we do. Ignite is a non-profit organization that specializes in workforce development. We offer an apprenticeship program that utilizes the collaboration of community partners, employers, and educational institutions to provide full-time job offers in H3 (High-demand, high-skilled, high-paying) careers to those who complete the program. We started with one woman’s desire to solve a problem in communities across the nation: Millions of people work hard in full-time jobs yet cannot reach financial stability. This problem disproportionately impacts communities of color who, because of systemic inequality, are under-represented in H3 careers. Simultaneously, employers find it challenging to find individuals with the talent to fill the high-demand roles of their organization. Ignite Nebraska bridges the gap between untapped talent in the workforce and employers to create a brighter future.
