Matteo Barreca possesses extensive experience in the logistics and financial management sectors. Since November 2016, Matteo has been employed at Ignazio Messina & C. as a Demurrage/Detention and Equipment Controller, effectively managing the empty container flow and rental equipment, while ensuring optimal inventory control and customer satisfaction. Matteo previously served as a Business Controller at the same company, focusing on financial reporting, budgeting support, and cost allocation. Prior to this role, Matteo worked as a Beach Resort Manager at Bagni Rosa Santa Margherita Ligure e Portofino, overseeing restaurant and bar operations. Matteo holds a Laurea Magistrale in Economia e Management Marittimo e Portuale and a Laurea Triennale in Economia e Gestione delle Aziende Marittime e della Logistica from Università degli Studi di Genova.
