Esther is currently a UI/UX Designer (Product) at Igloo. Prior to that, they were the HR Analytics Manager at BlackBerry from June 2013 to October 2016. There, they were responsible for effective communication of recruitment processes through document production and management, compliance research, and process improvements. Before that, Esther was a Knowledge Management Analyst at Research In Motion from December 2010 to May 2013 where they researched labour market trends to feed strategic recruitment initiatives.

In May 2010, Esther became a Human Resources Generalist at Trinity Village and was the single HR contact in a busy retirement and long-term care facility. There, they managed internal staffing in accordance with the collective agreement, recruited for external hires, and organized new hire onboarding. Esther also assisted with migration to new HRIS and payroll systems during their time there.

From September 2009 to April 2010, Esther was a Co-op Student in Compensation, Benefits & HRIS at Sanofi Pasteur. And finally, from September 2007 to May 2008, they were a Teaching Assistant at York University.

Esther has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Anthropology from McMaster University, a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from Sheridan College, and a Master of Arts in Social Anthropology from Massey University. Esther is also certified from Essential Impact in Excelerator Essentials.
