James Hiscock has worked in the IT industry since 2001. Theirmost recent role is as a DevOps Developer at Igloo Software, a position they have held since 2020. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Senior Application Support Analyst at Rogers Communications, where they were responsible for troubleshooting OS & application interoperability issues in a large, heterogenous data warehousing environment. From 2002 to 2015, they held various roles at Agfa HealthCare, including Tech Spec Customizations and Integrations, System Administrator, Software Verification, and Software Verification Specialist. Theirfirst IT job was at CheckFree i-Solutions from 2001 to 2002, where they worked as a Quality Assurance Tester/Analyst and Technical Writer.

James Hiscock attended the University of Waterloo from 1997 to 2001 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with Honours in English Literature.
