Dr. Jaya Gandhi is a Project Scientist at IGIB since June 2022, focusing on the targeting of single nucleotide mutations using base editors and CRISPR technologies. Prior experience includes roles as a Consultant Microbiologist at JITM SKILLS PRIVATE LIMITED and Lab Director at Agililant Diagnostic from June 2021 to May 2022. Dr. Gandhi also served as an Application Scientist at APAC Biotech in early 2021 and was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at THSTI from July 2018 to December 2020. Dr. Gandhi holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology with a specialization in Virology from the University of Delhi, completed in 2015, and possesses extensive skills in cell culture, planning, and scientific writing.
