Soumendra Roy is a seasoned professional in urban planning and architecture, currently serving as a Town Planner at Asansol Municipal Corporation since January 2018. In addition, Soumendra holds the position of Chief Architect at S ROY ARCHITECTS and is an Accredited Professional with the CII - Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), both roles established in June 2017. Previous experience includes serving as a Design Team Manager at The Design Group India, and a trainee architect at Mathur & Kapre Associates Pvt. Ltd., where contributions were made to commercial projects in Faridabad, Haryana. Soumendra's educational background includes a Master of Architecture in Sustainable Architecture from the School of Planning & Architecture Vijaywada, a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, and a Bachelor of Architecture from the same institution, complemented by a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental and Sustainable Development from Indira Gandhi National Open University.
