Nana Yaw Kwakye serves as Investment Director at the Investment Fund for Developing Countries (IFU), with a career at the organization that began in September 2012, progressing through roles such as Senior Investment Manager and Investment Manager, focusing on appraising investment opportunities and ensuring project sustainability in West Africa. Prior experience includes serving as Manager of Financial Planning & Strategy at Fairgreen Limited from August 2011 to August 2012, where strategic planning and cash flow management for tenders were key responsibilities. Earlier, Nana Yaw Kwakye worked as an Investment Analyst at Black Star Advisors from 2007 to 2011, managing a venture capital fund that invested in various Ghanaian companies. Educational qualifications include an MBA specializing in Strategic Planning from Edinburgh Business School (2014), a Diploma in Executive Negotiation from Copenhagen Business School (2013), and a Chartered Accountant designation from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK (2008), along with a BSc in Accounting from Oxford Brookes University (2008).
