Elodie Jousset is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Head of the Legal Department at IFREMER since May 2007. In this role, Elodie provides senior legal counsel to senior management on a wide range of legal matters, including strategic investments, corporate law, research partnerships, public grants, fleet management for oceanographic vessels, and insurance matters. Elodie leads a team of eight and oversees corporate secretarial support. Prior to IFREMER, Elodie held positions as Legal Counsel at Micro Application and completed internships at Ford Motor Company, Thales, and Highdeal, gaining expertise in commercial, competition, and IP law. Elodie holds a Master's degree in Business and Contract Law from Université de Bordeaux, an LLM in International and European Business Law from Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France, and participated in the ERASMUS Study Abroad Programme at KU Leuven.
