Gerry Killeen is a Professor and AXA Research Chair in Applied Pathogen Ecology at University College Cork, currently also serving as a Resident Guest Scientist at Ifakara Health Institute since 2003. Prior to this, Killeen was a Reader (Associate Professor) at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. Killeen holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Galway and a BSc in Biochemistry from University College Dublin.
