James Gauci serves as the CEO and Founder of Ethē since January 2024 and is the Managing Director and Founder of Cadent, a position held since November 2021. Involvement with IEEE includes roles as Chair, Secretary, and Executive Committee Member of SSIT Australia, focusing on the societal impacts of technology. Academic contributions include teaching Cybersecurity Ethics at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Previous roles include Digital Director at Personalised Plates Queensland, where James led various transformations and compliance initiatives, Project Manager at both GBST and Hydric, and experience in business management at Bench and AroundYou Pty Ltd. James holds an MBA from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Psychological Science from Griffith University.
