Donato Amitrano is a Research Engineer at CIRA - Centro Italiano Ricerche Aerospaziali since October 2021. Previously, Donato served as Head of Research and Development at Latitudo 40 from August 2020 to October 2021. Donato's academic background includes experience as a Research Associate at the University of Surrey from May 2018 to July 2020, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher, PhD Student, and Consultant at the University of Naples Federico II from June 2012 to May 2018. Donato holds a PhD in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II (2013-2016), a Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the same institution (2009-2012), and a Bachelor's degree in the same field (2004-2009).
